1. Venue Capacity

Numbers last year were limited to 140. I expect this will be increased to over 160 with the addition of an extra room. However numbers may still be limited, and you are advised to enter early.

3. Nottinghamshire Junior

For free entry as a Nottinghamshire junior to the congress you should be under 18 on 1st September 2008 and meet any one of the following:

1. Birth in Nottinghamshire
2. Current residence in Nottinghamshire
3. Attendance at a school, college or university in Nottinghamshire
4. Membership of a club based in Nottinghamshire
5. Membership of a club based outside Nottinghamshire but affiliated to Nottinghamshire Chess Association (Grantham, Long Eaton)
6. Any other qualification entitling you to represent Nottinghamshire in the County Championship.
