Notts Correspondence Chess Team 2018-19 Report

Report by Phil Morgan

This season Notts are competing in the second tier of County correspondence play – C+DCCC Sinclair division. Each team has 8 members, who each play 2 games

We are doing well. We stand on 9.5/14 with 2 games left in play. We have been very well led by our 2 titled players, SIM Jon Tait, and CCE Gordon Anderson who have each won both their games.

The likely winners of the division look to be Essex B, currently on 7/7, with 9 games in play.

We look likely to be fighting out second place with Midlands rivals, Warwickshire B, currently on 5½/8.
